It’s official! The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes Aloha Wanderwell as the First Woman To Drive Around The World! It took almost two years, but after much back-and-forth (a couple of copies of our Aloha biography helped), Guinness World Records – “the ultimate authority in record breaking achievements” – has confirmed Aloha as the record holder of ‘First Drive Around The World (Female)’. She began in 1922 at the age of 16 driving a Model-T Ford. The four corners of Aloha’s world had wheels, and the ends of the Earth were merely a challenge to her perseverance and indomitable spirit. No roads? No worries!
