Overlooked No More

What a wonderful tribute! The New York Times produces a section once in awhile that contains a series of obituaries about remarkable people whose deaths, beginning in 1851, went unreported in the newspaper. The section is called, “Overlooked.” On April 22, 2019, Carrie Rickey wrote a fabulous Aloha Wanderwell obituary for The Times providing the beautiful memory of her life and exploits. The book was the catalyst for this prominent piece and the authors were interviewed extensively. It can be read at The New York Times site here.
